Get to Know Dublin
The thriving city of Dublin draws visitors from all over the city with well-organized community events, plentiful dining and shopping, and a carefully planned, beautiful mix of new development and historic charm. Residents enjoy proximity to some of the region’s largest employers, nationally recognized schools, and top-notch amenities and services. Check out some of The Trinity Group’s favorites in the Dublin area!

Father-Son Time | Memorial Tournament, Muirfield Village Golf Club
I love to take my son to the practice round of the Memorial on Wednesday. The players are more relaxed and laid back, and he loves collecting autographs. The more serious rounds take place on Saturday and Sunday. I enjoy those days, too, but Wednesday is the best day for younger kids.
Irish Step Dancing | Dublin Irish Festival and Feis My wife grew up with Irish step dancing and my daughters have carried on the tradition. Both are really excited to be a part of the Festival and Feis this year with their school, Regan Rankin Holland (RRH). We’ve had wonderful experiences with RRH – they are like a second family! We’d recommend them to anyone interested in Irish step dancing. Find more information at ReganRankinHolland.com.

Seasonal Specials | 101 Beer Kitchen Seriously, the seasonal specials are just AMAZING. This is the kind of food you write home about. At least I do.
Peaceful Escape | Glacier Ridge Metro Park Maybe one of my favorite places in Columbus! Great for a quick walk with the dogs, or a long run with plenty of trail miles. We like the disk golf, horse trails, and all the green space for picnics!
Time Out | Downtown Dublin We love to just walk and check out the little shops, then get dinner at Harvest, Oscars, or Mezzo. We always go to Jeni’s or Johnson’s for ice cream after- even in the winter!
TIM & MOLLY LONG | Busy Family
Catholic School | St. Brigid of Kildare We realize that the Dublin City Schools are pretty fantastic, but we absolutely love St. Brigid School and the parish community. Molly is one of the first-grade teachers, and our kids all attend St. Brigid.
Beer Truck | Dublin Irish Festival I’m working as a Beer Truck Volunteer at the Dublin Irish Festival this year to raise funds for the St. Brigid Athletic Association. Come to see me at the Beer Truck on the southwest side of the Festival, between the Greenfield Sports Area and the Celtic Rock Stage. Go Wolfhounds!

Golf | Golf Club of Dublin One of the nicest public courses in the city! This links-style course with fast greens is really fun to play.
Pizza | Enrico’s This is simply the very best pizza in all of Columbus. Maybe anywhere. They don’t deliver, but it’s worth going in to pick it up.
Batting Cages | Mannino’s Grand Slam Walk-in batting cages with variable pitching speeds are available for a reasonable rate, and you can usually get one without too much of a wait. You can rent one of 7 tunnels by the hour or half hour. Each tunnel is 70’ long and 15’ tall, so there’s plenty of room to work on skills.

Celebration of Culture | Dublin Irish Festival My mother immigrated from Ireland many years ago and the pride remains strong. The weekend of the Feis (Irish Dance Competition) and Irish Festival, all held at Dublin Coffman HS & Coffman Park, are big in the family. My granddaughters dance with Regan Rankin Holland, and I’m excited to see them compete and perform this year!
Outdoor Mass | Dublin Irish Festival We attend the outdoor Mass at the Festival together as a family every year. It’s a beautiful Mass outdoors, on the Dublin Stage at the North end of the Festival grounds.
