Get to Know Worthington
Centrally located Worthington is one of Columbus’ oldest and most established neighborhoods. The Trinity Group’s Owner, Matthew Long, and Leasing Agent, Doug Grossman, are both proud to call this vibrant, engaged community home. Check out some of the Worthington area favorites shared by The Trinity Real Estate Group staff and our clients!

Pepperoni Pizza | Dewey’s Dewey’s has every kind of pizza you can imagine, but we always get the classic pepperoni. It’s fantastic and everyone in the family likes it! Dewey’s is a great place to meet friends or spend time with the family in downtown Old Worthington. If you can, get a seat on the patio. We love to sit out there and enjoy a warm summer night.
Youth Athletics | WYB Worthington Youth Boosters (WYB) offers 11 sports for kids ages 5 – 18. Our kids have played soccer, baseball, and lacrosse through WYB, and I’ve volunteered as a coach. We’ve gotten to know a lot of great families from the community through our kids’ WYB teams. Our experience with youth athletics through the Worthington Youth Boosters has been really positive, both for the kids and for us as a family.
Schools | Worthington City Schools What’s not to love? We have fantastic teachers, a supportive community, and the academics are incredible. Like many parents in the community, we enjoy being able to walk to school with our kids. Worthington City Schools consistently rank among the best school districts in Ohio.

Unique Gifts | Fritzy Jacobs This is one of my go-to spots when I’m looking for an Ohio-made gift for new homeowners or a souvenir of my new hometown.
Running Trail | Antrim Park I love going to Antrim when I need to fit in a quick, short run. The trail that goes around the lake is just over a mile, but it’s really pretty! It winds through the trees and you can see the lake the whole time. The trail at Antrim also connects to the Olentangy Trail, which is ideal for longer runs. I spent a lot of time on the Olentangy Trail when I was training for my first half-marathon!
Charm | Old Worthington As New Hampshire native, I just love the character of Old Worthington. It always reminds me of quaint small towns near my home in New England, but it’s here in the thriving city of Columbus.
ALI ALBERTSON | New In Town
Hummus | Fox Hollow Every week, I buy hummus from Fox Hollow at the Farmers’ Market in Old Worthington. We love it.
Coffee | Silver Bridge Coffee Company This is another one of my regular stops at The Worthington Farmers’ Market. They have great, locally roasted coffee that we can’t live without!
Mimosas | The Whitney House I meet my girlfriends here for brunch every Saturday morning after visiting the Farmers’ Market. We love the atmosphere and they have amazing pear mimosas!
MATT RANZ | Sports Fanatic
Adult Softball League | McCord Park Worthington has both co-rec and men’s adult softball leagues. They play weekly, with a double-elimination tournament at the end of the season.
Patio | The Pub Out Back This place is perfect for a casual night out with friends. It’s kind of hidden behind the shops on the west side of High St. in Old Worthington. They don’t serve food – just drinks- but you can have pizza delivered from Primo’s up the road.
Smoked Pork Nachos | The Crafty Pint Just outside of Worthington on 161. It’s a great place to meet friends to watch a game or just hang out. They have a huge selection of craft beers on tap, and the pork nachos are incredible.
DOUG GROSSMAN | Parent On The Go
Splash Pad | Worthington Pools We look forward to sunny summer days at the Worthington Pool all year long! The Splash Pad is open for a few weeks before and after the pool season, so it’s a great way to extend our summer fun.
Indoor Pool | Worthington Rec Center This place is a lifesaver during the colder months when we’re feeling cooped up and need to get moving! Get an annual membership, and bring guests for a low fee.
Hard Rd. Branch | Worthington Library We love going to the library here in Worthington. The kids’ area at the Hard Rd. branch is really cool.
