Day of Service: Worthington Resource Pantry

Worthington Resource Pantry

The Worthington Resource Pantry (WRP) serves residents of the zip codes that make up the Worthington School District. They are well known for their efforts to feed their neighbors. Last year, they provided more than 270,000 meals to nearly 1500 families. But that’s not all! The WRP describes themselves as “more than a food pantry.” They also support families in economic crisis with:

  • clothing
  • free medical care
  • employment counseling
  • job search assistance
  • holiday help
  • school supplies
  • furniture and other household items

Assistance with utility bills, health insurance, and housing is available. In addition, they offer valuable education and support to the community through programs like Drug Safe Worthington and Walk Worthington. Visit to learn more about the Worthington Resource Pantry.

Trinity Group’s Day of Service

The Trinity Real Estate Group is committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work. Recently, we closed our offices and spent time working at The Worthington Resource Pantry. We all worked together to help this amazing organization. In addition, several family members joined us!

When we learned about the WRP, we were eager to help out and serve our community. Matthew Long, The Trinity Group’s owner and CEO, lives in Worthington. “As a proud member of the Worthington community, I was impressed to see all that the resource pantry does locally,” he reflected. “I enjoyed working with the Resource Pantry team. They were informative and welcoming. Because of their gracious hospitality, we are looking forward to our next volunteering opportunity.”

Everyone on the team enjoyed the day of service. Realtor Matt Ranz summed it up: “It really was a fantastic experience. It just felt great giving back to the community!”
